Coleen Patricia Nolan is an English television presenter, author and member of pop group, The Nolans. The Nolans success included two Royal performances, record sales in Britain and more than 9 million records sold in Japan. In 1975 The Nolans supported Frank Sinatra on a UK tour and Rolf Harris in South Africa. In 1979, the group participated in the UK Eurovision selection contest, A Song For Europe. Their song Harry My Honolulu Lover was considered the favourite before the contest, but came fourth, with Black Lace going on to represent the UK. At the end of 1979, the group released I'm in the Mood for Dancing, which became their best-known tune and biggest hit. It reached number 3 in the UK and number 1 in Japan. Coleen’s extensive TV work includes stints on This Morning, Loose Women, Dancing On Ice and The Wright Stuff. She has three children, two sons with ex husband Shane Richie and a daughter with her second husband musician Ray Fensome. |
