How many books do you read a month?

Wait for the poll.

Black Dagger 02-01-2014 09:29 PM

1. Although I've made a vow to read more in 2014, our library is so poor though.

Jake. 02-01-2014 09:30 PM

none

Marc 02-01-2014 09:31 PM

More than four a month

Natalie. 02-01-2014 09:31 PM

I've always got one book on the go but it takes me ages to finish a book at the moment

Z 02-01-2014 09:32 PM

Used to love reading but uni got in the way. I think I'll get back to reading more when I've finished uni.

Shaun 02-01-2014 09:32 PM

taking English at uni really made it a chore but I'm slowly getting back into the habit

Glenn. 02-01-2014 09:33 PM

Less than 1. I need to start reading again :bored:

MTVN 02-01-2014 09:33 PM

Rarely read strictly for pleasure these days, last book I did was probably back in September. Do need to read quite a lot for my studies though

Livia 02-01-2014 09:33 PM

I read about a book a week. I always read when I go to bed, even if I'm really tired or I've been out.

Cherie 02-01-2014 09:33 PM

Varies sometimes 2 or 3, sometimes 1, sometimes none.

erinp5 02-01-2014 09:34 PM

Shame on me but very rarely do I read a book .I used to read all the time .

Smithy 02-01-2014 09:35 PM

Depends on the book tbh, sometime I can get through a series in weeks, but other times it can literally take me months to finish one book

I try to read as often as I can though

joe199998293 02-01-2014 09:36 PM

Well in November I read all 3 hunger games. And this month I've started reading Pattie Mallette's 'Nowhere but up' and I've also started John Greens 'The fault in our stars.'

Stephen King. :worship:

You defo need to read Misery by him and all seven of The Dark Tower Collection (the first one takes a while to get into but it leads the way for the other six books which are worth it)

This. I always read before going to sleep, on average I easily get through a book per week, sometimes more. Read fiction; crime thrillers, chick lit and non fiction; biographies and autobiographies.

Ooh! Will do! :amazed: So far Carrie is an excellent book, but I'm worried that Stephen King may be a little obsessed with menstruation D:

Drew. 02-01-2014 09:50 PM

Cant remember the last time i read a book but i've started in the past couple of days and i'll be sticking to it this year, hopefully i'll manage 3-4 a month.

Princess 02-01-2014 11:44 PM

Usually 4+ but I go through phases of being really slow at reading, I only read six months in the last two months compared to a week and a half in summer where I read eight, just depends really.

BigSister 03-01-2014 12:17 AM

Depends really sometimes I can read about 5-6 especially on holiday sometimes its not even one. Im gonna try and get back into reading though

james130 03-01-2014 12:19 AM

Same as others, I loved reading before uni but I haven't in a while.
Over summer I got through loads of books but probably wont again till I graduate this year.
