To be fair I don't mind musicals, love actual stage musicals and have been to several (I'm cultured dontyouknow) ... but Evita was ... not one of those I enjoyed.
I even quite enjoyed the Mean Girls musical remake recently
. It will never rival the original classic obviously but it was a fun enough day at the cinema.
Really you can only get away with going to see Mean Girls when you have daughters "dragging" you along though, if you try to go on your own I think you end up on some sort of watch list.
