She was doing her job, upholding the law on our behalf - and, like our soldiers - we need to start getting behind those who put their lives and health at risk for us. What sentence do you think an ordinary man would have received had he gone up to a woman he did not know in the street and repeatedly banged her head on the pavement? The fact that this woman was a Police Officer should have meant a lengthier sentence.

Yes longer in jail
at least that officer who got knocked out is back at work |
