But she had no idea what actual people outside of her little bubble actually thought about the issue. So it wasn't the ammo she thought it would be.

I agree it was a strategic move by Sturgeon that dramatically misfired and was a huge contributing factor in utterly destroying several years of the SNP's momentum.
