Welcome to the Top Song of 2008. We'll begin with a Top 100, each placing within the UK Top 40 Charts in 2008.

RULES:
Round 1/Top 100 Rules:
1. Move one of the songs from the "Nominees" list to the Safe Zone.
2. Only 8 votes within a single day, one vote per post, you must wait until 1 person has posted after you to be able to post again.
3. Each time you vote, copy and paste the nominees and the safe list.

Round 2/Top 60 Rules:
Same as Round 1 until 30 songs are added to the safe list.

Round 3/Top 30 Rules:
Same as Round 2, Only TWO votes per round until 20 songs are added to the safe list.

Round 4/Top 20 Rules:
The Top 20 will participate in a +1/-1 round with each having 5 votes each. You must wait until TWO people have posted after you to vote again. This will continue until only 10 song are left.

Round 5/Top 10:
The Top 10 will participate in a +1/-1 round with each having 10 votes each. You must wait until TWO people have posted after you to vote again. This will continue until only 9 song are left.

Round 6/Top 9:
Each of the 9 songs will begin at 0, each person can place THREE votes per day. The first EIGHT songs to reach TEN votes will continue. You can only post after TWO people have posted.

Round 7/Top 8:
4 votes per day, first 7 to reach 12 votes continues.

Round 8/Top 7:
5 votes per day, first 6 to reach 14 votes continues.

Round 9/Top 6:
6 votes per day, first 5 to reach 16 votes continues.

Round 10/Top 5:
6 votes per day, first 4 to reach 18 votes continues.

Round 11/Top 4:
6 votes per day, first 3 to reach 20 votes continues.

Round 12/Top 3:
6 votes per day, first 2 to reach 22 votes continues.

Round 13/Top 2:
A one-on-one challenge. The closing date for voting will be given during Rory's first post of the round. Whichever one of the two has the most votes wins!
