Series not "Seasons".

This is not America.

These kind of people don't exist anymore.

The only people I see watching the show now are relatively young people, relatively stupid people, or people who - and fair enough if that is your thing - never took a vital interest in the integrity of the format and just wanted a show to watch.
BIB - Harsh but probably true .....

Big Brother has been pretty low brow television for years though, they made it into a freak show from about BB5 onwards, this set of housemates could all be considered quite normal compared to some that have been in in recent years

CBB was a success but BB has been a complete flop for the channel and has made the schedule fall apart. But now Channel 5 have some experience, they now know what they need to do to make next year better. That could be due to it being on at a weird time of year. CBB should have no trouble matching its audience earlier in the year when it returns in January but BB could be in trouble. But maybe being back in through the summer will help espeicially if they keep it at 10 weeks.

CBB is the main event these days, BB just keeps the core fans happy throughout the year. It would be like ITV doing "I'm Not a Celebrity" in the spring/summer and on for about 10-13 weeks. It probably wouldn't work.

Yeah BB is unlikely to ever attract any more viewers aside from the core fan base of 1/1.5m people, CBB will always be more successful in attracting the casual viewer and generating interest
