I think it will be waste of time, we have a Government that doesn't listen to its people and the minor part of the coalition Govt, even almost misled the public to get votes and then abused the power of the seats given to them by those votes.

Having done that, they will just blatantly ignore protestors amd marches like they have already with others.

I just feel marches are old hat now, I cannot be bothered with them even if I agree with the protests or reasons for them.

With the Internet there are better vehicles for mass support there for causes and protests as you point out what inevitably happens is protests and matches get hijacked by others with a more violent agenda maybe, or even some(usually a minority) of the protesters take things too far.

Personally I never understood why the Royal car was allowed anywhere near where the protesters were anyway, in this age of mass communication it would not have been in any way difficult ro re-route the car.

Also I don't know if you will agree but I feel the media there will just be waiting for someone to start kicking off and then blast that all over the front pages. Just a waste of time and energy in my view are marches etc. now.

Are the younger crew thinking they can match the Libya fight
or are they going to smash cars tomorrows?

Starts at 11AM from Victoria

Over 4,500 Police are getting ready.

Direct Action of taking over buildings
will be the problem.

The TUC think it will be a peaceful event?

"Personally I never understood why the Royal car was allowed anywhere near where the protesters were anyway, in this age of mass communication it would not have been in any way difficult ro re-route the car."

That is easy as the car went on another route (Due to the Riot)
so they were not ready or able to move fast so became stuck in a traffic jams
for a few mins - enough time to attack that car.
They had to get to Covent Garden for the TV recording
so going below the oxford street Riot was wise
until it hit them.

Default Unbelievable

Successive governments since the 1960's have made this country into "nanny state" and the people of this country into dependant, immature wingers. No wonder other western countries think we are all wasters.

Despite the obvious logic that the money-pot is empty they cry "I want, I want, I want" and smash everything up, like demented infants. Or. like some amateur lawyers, think they are somehow better equipped to run a nation (Hitler and Stalin thought like that)

NOTHING in life is a given. Winging or charging around complaining only does more harm. If you think there is a big conspiracy you are deluding yourself.

The overwhelming majority of people in this country support its government. There are many independant organisations as a constant check on this. By creating this kind of mayhem they are only undermining our country and the rest of us in the eyes of our competitors. OUR CULTURE NEEDS TO GET REAL!!

Many more there than I thought would be. However after reading more into the budget I was as a young person with my life ahead of me appalled to see the Govt had cut the winter fuel allowance for pensioners by Ł50.
What a petty disgrace that is, pensioners should not be having this done, Cameron pledged to keep the winter fuel allowance and although he can say he has he has not kept it as it was if it is cut by Ł50. No wonder decent people are taking to the streets to protest.
Shocking, to cut it at a time when energy prices have been and are still rocketing is wrong. what a shameful and petty thing to do and it's likely more marches like this will occur.

Most and really full blame for the cut to pensioners WFA lies with the Lib Dem MPs who will be supporting it and allowing the cut to go ahead.
Bankers rake in bonuses, pensioners get a pittance cut, absolutely disgraceful and wrong as in fairness, decent or moral sense.

I don't think people should be allowed to march in busy central areas on a saturday. Just seems a recipe for disaster and a huge infringement on the rights of innocent bystanders and shopkeepers to go about their business in peace.

some common sense is needed.
