Yeah I agree. A few colourful cushions maybe the colours of the eye would make it look even better

Yeah, thanks for the advice - the room looks a lot brighter when the blinds are up, and when you can see the rest of the house...it is a darker than usual house though.

The dining area is located on the opposite side of the house of the living room and has a classy and expensive feel with huge 16-seated white wooden table with perspex chairs, along with gold candlesticks down it. A red carpet compliments the wood & gold metal decorations on the black and white walls. The plasma screen is in the dining area this year, and there is a black and white hatch on the opposite side of the table. The dining area feels much more like an independant part of the house than in previous houses.

Let me know what you think...

It seems incredibly tacky to me, but then again, so was this years bathroom, and it grew on me over time.

I do like the artwork on the wall that the plasma screen is embedded in. That looks great.

Wow, thanks for all the great comments...it's supposed to have a slightly tacky feel to it, much in the same way the BB9 bathroom did (:

I'll do the kitchen next, but I don't think it'll be for a while, I'm not happy with it at the moment...

WOW! This is great work! I really love the dining area (tbh I usually wouldn't like something like that, but you've pulled it of so well) the only thing I'm not sure on is the red. Apart from that, amazing

Oh, and can you post some overhead shots to get an idea of all the positioning?

I don't like the gold walls, but I love the general style and the dining table/chairs. Great work

Again, thanks for the comments...none of the other parts of the house are finished at all yet, so it may be a while before I post more

I'll make a plan of the house soon...

... what some called "classy and expensive" others would name "tacky and cheap".

Not keen at all - having flashbacks to the VIP1 Serbia house.
