 2.6 million viewers watched the launch show, which is the highest number of viewers for an opening show since 2012. As well as being the most streamed show of the day across ITVX, The ITV1 show ranked number one in its timeslot for both total viewers and young adults (16-34) and Big Brother was the UK's number one show of the day for young adults (16-34) across all networks. It was the most watched show in the 9PM time-slot. For young adults (16-34) Big Brother delivered a combined market share of 48.7% making this the highest launch market share since the format aired on Channel 4 in 2006 (58.9%). With 0.7 million TV viewers in the 16-34 age range, the show achieved a share of 26% across both channels, and 36% specifically on ITV2. Big Brother returns on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm. |
