Danniella Westbrook Linked With CBB

Former Eastenders actress Danniella Westbrook has been linked with a place in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother, starting in January, according to The Daily Star. The newspaper says she is currently living in sheltered accommodation, after a long-running battle with drugs. A source in the Daily Star is quoted as saying: 'Danniella sees Celebrity Big Brother as her only option now. She hates to leave her kids, but she needs cash, and fast.' She talked about her current money troubles on ITV's This Morning recently, saying: 'This year has been the worst year of my life. 'I’ve lost all work, we’re in a bedsit, I go to food banks… I messed up.' 'It’s a car crash… and I have to say, I thought that nearly losing my life was the worst point of my life, but I think that this year has been the worse year that I’ve ever had.' 'I always think if you mess up, the best way is to put your hands up and say I’ve done wrong. There’s no point keep sweeping things under the carpet. 'A national paper sent me to The States and looked after me out there and made sure I had all the right meetings and doctors and things. 'But when I got back, the friend who was lending me somewhere to stay unfortunately lost that house so I found myself with nowhere to live.' 'They got us in somewhere within two weeks, in sheltered accommodation which is like a bedsit, which is where we are now,' Danniella Westbrook appeared in Eastenders between 1990 and 2006, and from 2009-10. She has also been a contestant on I'm a Celebrity in 2003 and Dancing on Ice in 2010. UPDATE: She wrote on Twitter that she hasn't been asked to appear in Celebrity Big Brother. "Everyone txting me asking about @bbuk for jan .. I have NOT been asked to do the show ... Everyone is booked already x."

Just read that she is skint and close to being homeless so i think she will be a dead cert to be a housemate? What do you think?

I felt a bit sorry for her yesterday when she was on This Morning,I think she is clean at the moment,addictions are hard to break and for some more than others,as for BB,not sure it would be a good thing.
