View Full Version : Voting strategy in a 3 way eviction with 2 going

I’m a fan of Katia, but resigned to the idea that she will definitely be out tonight – but who should I vote for in an attempt to save her the humiliation of being the first evictee?

Will supporters of Heidi and Sov be voting tactically against each other – could Katia benefit from this?

I did politics as a science at Uni - I can assure you that the people who overthink and do tactical voting have never changed any outcome in any election. Far less a few diehards on a website of BB. Vote with your heart or not at all and save a few pennies is my advice.

It always irritates me in multi-housemate eviction scenarios that BB never provide a breakdown of the percentages beyond that of the evictee(s).

If they gave numbers/percentages for all, any sensible gambling scam could quickly calculate the cost of swinging the next close one and go do it.

It iis a simple cost/benefit analysis on this small market

I wouldn't waste your money voting at all.

Sound advice rather than tactical **** which doesn't work and wastes your money

Regarding the betting market - i wonder if the bookies will get it right regarding Heidi/Sov - most now seem to have Sov as second favourite for eviction. I also wonder at what point BB decided to make it a double eviction as i think the best part of Monday passed between the nominees being announced and the double eviction being revealed.

We're donald ducked on sunday as LB has a broken leg and his replacement is crap - Romo can do crossing patterns all day long on a short drop.....hence why I've bet Cowgirls to win

They have her as second fave for the 1st eviction as against an odds on Katia.

This does not mean she's 2nd fave to be evicted FFS can you not read?

Of course i can ********** read - but i assumed that the person with the longest odds would be considered (by the bookies) least likely to be either evictee. For instance, when Sov was at 20/1 earlier in the week, it seemed she would be the favourite to stay.

OK Eistein - betting on 1st eviction is far different from betting who will be evicted in a double...........talk **** and you have the potential to misguide a fellow FM into wrong market - that is what I was getting at

Dude, its not like everyone is expert in betting odds!

I thought, that Heidi would be the favorite to go second, as she was the second favorite to go first. Obviously, its not the case, given the odds you presented, but it makes sense, that one would think so, if they are not gamblers.

I hear what your saying and therefore always request people who are not not to give erroneous info which has the potential to lose real people real money in the real world.

I should say sorry I expressed it badly this time - I'm sorry Cold Sweat - I'm having a bad day

No point voting when someone can vote hundreds of times if they have the money to waste, it's just a con.

Heidi must go, otherwise Vinnie just gets even more power in the house and the show becomes more boring. The last HLs show they suggested that Endemol were doing everything they could to get votes for Sov and not for Heidi, hopefully they don't succeed.

Katia is ok but she is better off out of there, she is just being totally outplayed by all the gameplayers in there. I think she's better off away from Jonas as well.

As for the NFL don't worry about the other teams, the Chargers are the ones to beat this year. :D

Vikes were never gonna win SB anyway - going out to a potential winner is OK (this is how I'm living with myself/my bet) :joker:

YOu never know though. I am a boys fan, the vikes could very well win the game this weekend. Theyre playing in the loud ass superdome, and they are a frikking good ass team. I talk smack, but truthully, I know that game is a push, and the cowboys have to be the underdog.
I am not gonna be pissed off, if we lose, knocking out Philly, made the season for me. :)

For this very reason in the thread explains how Katia might not even go.

Your assuming she's a gonner, but in the last 3 days she has done nothing worth being evicted. Sov's last 3 days have been awful.
