Here's the article ;
An X factor spokesperson has publicly stated that an email which claims to name the final 12 finalists of this year’s X Factor is nothing more than a hoax. The message, which has been circulated by fans over the past week, claims to reveal the identities of the final 12 finalists who will be taking part in the live shows.
This weekend, viewers will see the 200 contestants who managed to get into bootcamp whittled down to only 24 who will take part in the judges house segment next weekend. Only then will viewers know who the finalists in each category are.
An X Factor spokesperson told Ireland’s Evening Herald, “This email has been copied and pasted from a fans’ forum which speculates over who has made it to the final 12.
“There is no leak and we’re quite happy that’s where it came from. Fans of the show have been discussing it for some time.”
Despite the statement similar leaks in the past have been very accurate, with only 1 or 2 incorrect names. It is however unclear whether this apparent leak is a result of insider knowledge or similar guess work – only time will tell!
