Big Bruv star thrown in cells

CROSS-DRESSING singer Pete Burns was arrested and thrown in a cell after a drunken nightclub brawl with his ex-lover.

The Celeb Big Brother star allegedly hit Michael Simpson after seeing him with his new fella.

Bitchy Pete flew into a jealous rage when he saw that Michael’s new flame was a better looking version of himself.

The Dead Or Alive star was said to have launched himself across the dance floor at London’s Ghetto club and smacked his one-time partner.

Fellow clubbers at the busy Soho nightspot took cover as beer bottles and glasses started to fly when pals of the pair got

caught up in the fracas.

Troubled Pete, 46, who split with Michael just weeks after emerging from the Big Brother house in January, was still behind bars last night.

The Eighties chart star, wearing a tiara, had turned up at the club with a pal known as Daisy O. But when Michael, 37, turned up minutes later, the atmosphere soured. His new partner, known as Lloyd, is a dead ringer for Pete - right down to the outrageous clothes.

One clubber said: "Michael arrived and suddenly there was all this shouting and screaming. Pete saw Michael and went for him."

Arrested

When police arrived, Pete was said to have told them he was the victim, but officers hauled him away. They also arrested his pal Daisy O.

The incident early yesterday morning came just a month after Pete checked into a mental health unit, suffering "exhaustion".

Scotland Yard confirmed last night that two men were still in custody at a London police station.

POP oddball Pete Burns looks dishevelled as he leaves a gay nightclub early yesterday — after a brawl with his ex fiancé which got him arrested.

Gender-bender Pete, 46, was escorted to a police van at 3.15am by a WPC after allegedly flying at Michael Simpson, 37, who had turned up with a new blond cross-dressing lover.

A clubber who saw the fracas at trendy Ghetto, in London’s West End, said: “There was fur flying everywhere. It was a really ferocious little fight.

“He flew at Michael and clawed his face. There was blood everywhere.

“At first Pete seemed quite calm when Michael arrived with another man.

“But just as he was going to leave he suddenly went wild.”

Pete — who last month checked into a mental hospital — was held in custody until yesterday afternoon, when he was released on police bail. A second man arrested with him was also bailed.

A police spokesman confirmed the arrests, saying said: “Officers responded to reports of an incident at a nightclub.”

Sorry Scooby but they have a point - where ever Pete goes he seems to bring trouble, arguing and fighting with him, so I doubt very much anyone is going to "leave him alone" when he constantly gives us something to talk about. Not all of us like him and still have the right to comment

The man certainly seems to invite trouble. He ought to learn to keep his mouth shut sometimes.

It's strange, he seemed to be so smart with all of his comments in the house. It seems fair to say, although I am sorry Scooby, that wittiness doesn't always translate into intelligence, otherwise he wouldn't get himself into such utter messes! :bored:
