I'm going to enquire about one when I'm down in Invercargill at Christmas. I probably won't be able to do one at that time, but I'm going to look into doing one in the next couple of months.

More people are killed by a falling coconut than by great whites though.

Had two shark attacks here this year. I would say putting yourself in a cage *for* the shark is you being the bait. There are other ways to get thrills...like jumping from a high height from a bungy. Try something else. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp32/sharkattack_torrential/laugh.gif
That being said, if you ever have the desire for thrilling scuba diving and are near the Andaman Islands, I have a good friend who owns a diving school(for beginners or experts) who can teach you the ropes. Bastard's motto is "Why didn't you just stab it with your dive knife?" in response to a diver coming within close perimeter of a Great White. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp32/sharkattack_torrential/wink.gif
Good luck, Ben, but don't do it. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp32/sharkattack_torrential/wavecry.gif

Because they are such fascinating creatures. Sure it'll be scary, but just to see them at close range would be amazing. I've heard some people do a great white shark dive without a cage.

Go for it. It looks amazing, and it's completely safe. Just to see the size, power, and grace of an animal like that, up close and personal, would be an experience of a lifetime.

Shark: "I think Ben coming out would be a meal to be experienced once in my lifetime, as well. ...*with* him, damnit, not him as the main course, you tyrants!"

You know sharks haven't really changed in millions of years, which may help him when dealing with Niamh and Ammi.
Yes and I would do it without the cage

I'd take my chances with the coconut, how's that for brave.

We're all right behind you Marc, on the shore.
..coconuts can't eat you either Cherie..and so long as you don't sit under a coconut tree, you're probably reasonably safe...

No for me, that would be asking me to do too much. Good luck with it though if you go ahead.

I was planning on sitting opposite the coconut tree Ammi, I'm not a risk taker!

Unless your house bursts into flames or you trip and the mouse wire from your computer wraps around your neck and you choke...
....There's a lot of thought/detail in that post Ben...I'm feeling a bit worried...
