Reminds me of Freddie, BB10

Dexter can handle himself better than Freddie. He seems more aware and he takes criticism better.

Dexter isn't obviously annoying like Freddie. I didn't like how Freddie was treated in BB10 but i could at least somewhat understand it with his actions, I can't really with Dexter

I can see validity in your comparison, the situation is quite similar, the outcome will be far different though. Dexter is far better equipped to take them on and outmanoeuvre their ploys than Freddie ever was.

Look at how he dealt with the inevitable mass nomming last night. As discussed on BOTS, he kept his cool, listened calmly to it all and just accepted it. Not saying he wasn't bothered on the inside, there's a lot bubbling under with Dexter, shown by his shock and delight when he stayed over Jemima. But he knows its all in the game, and handled it accordingly. Unlike Wolfy, whose face was like thunder, there will be trouble from her between now and Friday (it'll escalate when she's not saved midweek btw) Dexter is the master of gameplay. I completely see him making the final, and being up every single week for the duration ( unless there are twists )

I would love to see him escape for a week, by whatever needs to make it happen, as the reactions including his own will be an amazing watch.

nah, I don't think so, I love Dexter as a HM, he's entertaining and interesting but he is sneaky and not very nice to live with I'd imagine, I think the HMs treatment of him is probably justified, where as with Freddie (eventhough I wasn't a Freddie fan) he seemed like a nice enough and genuine guy who was being picked on

It's not bullying though, it reacting to sneaky behaviour. Don't get me wrong, I like Dexter as a HM but he is a horrible little insulting man, people are treating him like they are cos he's not very nice. You reap what you sow.

I think it's still wrong. Sophie, the twins and Wolfy are going over the top. The twins even called him a dog.

He is sneaky and creepy though, I reckon they're all right about him.

No more sneaky than the others. Wolfy is worse. And at least Dexter isn't bitchy.

Isn't bitchy? lol oh come on, you don't think him basically saying Hazel is probably s**t in bed, for no apparent reason wasn't being bitchy?

He was just joking. It wasn't malicious. He's hardly bitching about everyone 24 hours like the others do. Wolfy in particular.

Dexter is rapidly climbing my favourite leader board atm. He takes everything in his stride even though he is by far the most hated person in the house. The hate doesn't seem to phase him either; he carries on stirring things, telling half truths and generally winding the HMs up. He is great to watch. He wound Hazel right up yesterday. Shame she cant take thing more light heartedly. Hazel is one of my faves but she does act aloof and distant at times.

As others have said Dexter is much better equipped to handle the house than Freddie. I think at times Dexter is actually enjoying himself in the house.

Listen, I'm not saying the others don't do it, and I love Dexter as a HM, I think he's amazing and the game he's playing is fantastic too. But I'm being a realist here, he is probably horrible to live with. He may have been "joking" when he said that to Hazel but he knew that comment would get under her skin, come on, she's an attractive, young, model, him saying something like that was bound to really annoy her, joke or not.

He's just socially awkward. He's not good in a group situation. I sympathise, because i'm the same. I've fallen out with a lot of people at work and my best friend turned her back on me. All because she knows i'm not popular.

He's a game player, but i believe his personality is what we're seeing. He's not good at making friends. Some people on DS have suggested he could be an aspie.

Dexter's not an innocent little meek housemate he may not deserve the whole blame for everything that happens like most of the housemates seem to think but definitely does **** stir in there.

I agree, but he's the scapegoat of the series. Housemates blame him for everything that goes wrong. Look at Sophie. There was no need for that foul mouthed rant. And the twins called him a dog. :nono:
