This. Let's wait until we hear more.
I wonder whether there'll be discussion on BOTS?

Personally I don't think anyone should ever get kicked off a reality show, but these are the rules of this show and therefore he had to go.

Judging on just the live feed footage & what we've seen, It seems a little bit extreme

I think it's justified, he was obviously psychologically unstable and had to be withdrawn from the show, Hazel's safety was breached.

For his wellbeing (he seems mentally unstable and has done since he went in) yes, in terms of whether it's fair to just kick him out with no prior warning...no

Exactly what I was thinking. In view of what we have seen of him in the Safe House where he suddenly went from being Hazel's flirty friend overnight to someone who wanted to tell her what to do and how to behave, then I think there is a lot more to this expulsion than an arse slap, though tbf you are not allowed to lay hands on anyone and that was not a playful slap.

Don't be ridiculous, and just to remind you wishing harm on HMs is against the rules

A statement from a Channel 5 spokesperson confirmed: “Due to threatening and aggressive behaviour towards Hazel O’Sullivan we have taken the decision to remove Daley Ojuederie from the Big Brother House.”

I'm not a Daley fan at all but I think this is a bit ridiculous. I can name at least 10 previous housemates who've been more threatening and weren't even warned, let alone ejected.

this is the same BB that gave Jemima a warning for being racist and Dexter a warning for the Sophie thing, he never would have been thrown out back in the old days.

Daleys an example of 'the quiet ones are the worst'... to go from being so quiet and reserved that did not reflect his image. This behaviour that has emerged does not suprise me as I said 2 weeks ago I think he has issues.
I think he was capable of much worse and bad publicity like that has to be avoided for the future of the show.
Right decision...

I think a formal warning would have sufficed. not sure without knowing the full story however.

An intoxicated boxer play-fighting?
Yeah, he was a potential danger to Hazel. No need for her to be hurt before removing Daley.

They were right to remove him. His behavior would have warranted a warning, but putting his hands around her throat and saying that he'd headbutt her crossed the line.
Whether Hazel was provoking it or not, or maybe was even enjoying it (as she's as crazy as Daley) is irrelevant, because it was an act that could be deemed offensive to viewers.

of course its the right decision!.
in the past people have been removed for saying one word!!!!
here was a man that put his hands around another housemates throat!
before the play fight started he was ranting saying bitches be talking!, so was already p*ssed off, as his women hazel should be in bed like a good girl pandering to his needs!
drink can bring the worst out in someone and it did with daley, but his controlling ways started the night before, when he was telling her what he wanted her to put on in regards to make up.
despite hazel trying to play it down she was frightened!

I said something really similar, in another thread, I felt when he entered the house he was far to quiet for my liking, & they way he kept going on about not sure if he still had girlfriend in the outside, I just found it very odd, then when he started to get feelings for Hazel, he started to change his tune about his girlfriend.:nono:

well I'm guessing that the first few people who posted hadn't seen what he had done on last nights highlights, and if you did and still posted that a warning would of been enough, just leave now and bow your head in shame. Daley was scary, and he was not playing at all, yes hazel peed him off nicking his quilt but she was only playing, the tone of voice daley had i wouldn't put it passed him, to of actually hit her, the way he kept calling her a little girl was creepy, the way he kept telling her how she should be dressed, how he grabbed her by the neck and told her to respect your elders before i nut you, is completely and utterly crazy talk and he was deeply serious. No prior warning is justifiable for what he did. Hazel went and sat on the chair and you could see terror in her eyes, and still when the house was told, you could just see how scared she had become.
I did think daley was about strange, i never thought he would do what he did, but the way he snapped at dexter for talking to hazel, the way he talked to hazel about how she shouldn't where make up or how she should dress :S and the way he talks in that he can't string sentences together properly all seem odd now. he is an absolute disgrace, and a danger to women.

Its a no brainer. Of course he should have been removed. Unstable and a danger when drunk. It would have been completely irresponsible to leave the cheating woman threatener in there any longer.
I am astonished anyone could think he should only get a warning. Many a woman has been beaten to death because partners have only had warnings.....No woman should go any where near him unless he is cleared safe after medical treatments....

I think once Hazel said she felt threatened by his actions they were left with little choice.
Also after watching the footage again that was shown, then really I cannot see where it is appropriate behaviour from him at all.
I would then say they were right to remove him not only for the protection of others in the house maybe but also in fact from himself.

My thoughts exactly, i've watched it a few times, because i've read all sorts of reasons, from it was just playing, to this is sexual tension, yet at no point did i feel nor saw any action that Daley was playing, his body language and his aggressive tone, showed me he was getting annoyed and he honestly thought she needed to show him respect. I also think the reason why they cuddled the rest of the night was more because Hazel didn't know what to make of it, because they had been so good with each other. Daley talks himself around so it doesn't seem bad to him.
