So detective dickend gives hazel a shoulder to cry on, telling her "ohh hazy" "I noticed something weird in him(daley) a couple of weeks ago, something not right" "They way he talked about women, was sometimes degrading" You know, stuff like cook my dinner woman"
But hey ho, I'll nominate Callum for being too nice.:joker::joker:

Well a few have nominated Callum for being 'nice' not just Dan and he did say there was things he wasn't sure as to Daley.
He wasn't saying he didn't like him just that there was sometnhing about him.
He also did warn Hazel as to the relationship too, she heeded no warnings or anything said to her from Gina or Dexter too after they left the safe house.
I actually think Callum is a nice guy probably, however I am not sure what to make of him either, he has some creepy elements to him but although that is off putting he comes over as being 'nice' with near everyone.
Is that being nice real or false though, there is just something about him too and I would probably be nominating him if I was in there having a lot of doubts as to him myself.
However, like most people who care even a little, Dan is still there for her even after the massing up of things as to her and Daley and that's a mark of a decent friend in all truth.

Other people nominated Callum too because Dan has a huge presence in the house and is able to corner one person and get a gang up against them. He did the same with Michael, then Wolfy and now with Callum. Jack and JOe may be his next targets, watch this space.
Also, as for warning Hazel about Daley, let's face it, he's just jealous that Daley started to get all of Hazel's attention instead of himself. He missed his bitching buddy. That, and did you see how jealous he was when Hazel and Daley got put in the safe house? The guy only cares about his own safety and success on the show.
Callum is 100% genuine and not creepy at all. Dan made him cry for crying out loud yesterday. Sure, Charlie instigated it but where did the irritation ideas come from? Bitchy Dan.
He's honestly the most manipulative housemate we've had in years and I really hope he doesn't make the final. After Siavash, he's my second least favourite housemate in the history of BBUK. He should stop harassing Callum already, such a dick.

Where did Dan make Callum cry, he cried after the dinner date with Charlie, that had been set up by Daley and Hazel, who then had him supplanted by Dexter for the end of the meal.
Dan was nowhere to be seen.It was Daley and Hazel's plannign that brought that about.
Anyway, I like Dan and don't really care for Callum,I see both as opposite to the way you do Barker.
So we would likely never agree on them at all.
He is a good housemate and my tip to win, but his morales are way off target.

Speak for yourself.
Also you're so deludedly bias you're clearly not actually wacthing the show. Dan didn't make Callum cry yesterday (he didn't even talk to him). Charlie did.

I want to re-adress the point in case you and joeysteele misunderstood me. I know that physically Charlie made him cry, and I agree with that. That being said, the seed of 'Callum is too nice', 'Callum is irritating', 'Callum is awkward' was planted in her head by Dan and Dan through Jackie and that's what I meant when I said Dan played a role in it. Just because he wasn't there at the time, doesn't mean he didn't influence Charlie's opinions which as a result upset Callum.

This is so true. It was most definitely Dan who planted the seed inside the house that Callum is 'too nice'. I think Dan with his foresight could see that perhaps Callum is genuine (despite Callum's fabrication in his VT), and is therefore worried that Callum might outstage him - something that Dan would find very hard to deal with. Dan has managed to systematically pull Callum down, by being a strong character in the house, thus all his little cling-ons holding onto his every word. Callum, in contrast, has since opened up to Charlie, letting her know that he puts on this hard exterior, due to his insecurities, and basically she shot him to pieces, because she still believes whatever she's told by Dan and clan. I feel sorry for Callum, and I wish he'd steer clear of Charlie - she's definitely her mother's daughter.

I have to say, I tried to take that on board but really failed to.
Callum isn't crying because someone says and others may have followed the view that he is too nice.
It is because the girl he fancies and also near seems to stalk,(quite in a creepy way at times too as others have said on this forum), in the house, does not feel in any way the way he does and also that he was unable to really explain over their meal clearly what his feelings really are.
I don't dislike Callum, however I feel as with Daley, he is allowing his BB experience to be completely ruined by his fixation with a female housemate rather than just getting on,bringing his personality out and enjoying it all as best he can.
I think he may be realising that and that is the reason he cried not because of something someone said ages ago and who was nowhere near at the time he did cry.
No one likes to see anyone cry, I don't.
It is though his failure with Charlie by his own means that also has her not reciprocating what he feels/thinks as to her that is the likely real reason for the tears..

I'm sorry joey, I hate to disagree with you as I really value you as a member but Callum did not cry because of Charlie. He made it very clear in fact, that it was bigger than just him liking Charlie and not being liked back. For Callum, the issue was that he always has to put a front up to please people, and behave in the way that he believes they expect him to behave. And here's why Dan comes into the equation. Callum was being his genuine self being kind and supportive. But then, Dan had a problem with it and criticized him for it, mainly behind his back might I add. As a result, due to his low self esteem to begin with, Callum resorted back to the 'lad' type character that he expected would please everyone, because people wouldn't accept him for who he was. As a result, Charlie criticized him for not being real. The issue with identity is what upset Callum, not Charlie liking him. The guy is such a gentleman and unfortunately people like Dan who are so focussed on themselves and winning, need to bring nice people like Callum down to feel better about themselves.
I know you're a Dan fan Joey, and I respect that. But in all honesty, he really is my second least favourite housemate in Big Brother history, just because of how sly and manipulative he is. He was one of my favourites at the start because I saw him as a nice guy, but he really hasn't been and the way he treats Callum is really unfair and quite cruel, in my opinion.

Hey no way, don't be be sorry to disagree with me Barker, you really like Callum and see things differently to me as I point out, just as you do too.No worries.
You reason in a good way and I fully respect that.
Dan is not perfect and I have cringed at times at things he has said and done in the house but like you as to Callum, I myself see a great deal of good in Dan just as you do in Callum too.
We really like different housemates, that's all but I always respect the others views when I can.
I can obviously never change your thinking but I wouldn't be a true supporter of someone if I didn't make my points too.
Carry on disagreeing, I have a feeling we will have much to discuss in the weeks to follow too.
You have though influenced in a small way one thing, I was voting to evict Callum but am now voting to evict the Twins my other choice to go, so for you, I hope Callum stays.

Thats what bothers me about Dan, he doesnt like Callum which is fair enough but i dont like how he has gone around to every HM numerous times telling them how he feels about Callum and what he thinks his wrong with him then finishes off with but that just my opinion. He did it with Michael & he has done it with Wolfy. The only one who accepts Callum good side/bad side is Sam. He has shown so much more maturity than Dan who is a lot older than Sam. Callum knows he is damned if he does & damned if he doesnt.
I dislike Dan the most in there.

I agree with everything that Barker has said (written). Dan does plant the seeds of doubt about a HM he might not like and, sadly, others follow suit. Dan is very sly, I think he is the biggest game player in there.

I really can't help feeling that Dan was given some information on some of his fellow HMs before he actually entered the house. Something doesn't ring true about him and it is a Secrets and Lies BB.

Are most housemates that go into BB not in some way desperate to win? What is the point of entering if you don't think you 'may' have a chance of winning it.
I doubt very much that only Dan is desperate to win or the only one hoping they will either.

Dan is great. He has been loyal to Hazel through everything and he has been very accurate in his opinions of people. Yeah ok he is bitchy but then most housemates are in their own way. Gina is QUEEN bitch the way she has endlessly bitched about Hazel specially in the safe house. I dont like Callum and to be honest I thought his crying was a pure sign of weakness. Its horrible to see a man cry but when its for something purely meaningless I have no sympathy for him. Hes a big boy. If Charlie isnt interested he should get up dust himself down reshape his ego and make some effort with the rest of the housemates
