I agree with you, BigSister. The Pop Idol final should definitely be in the Top 10.
I can still see the disbelief and pure delight on Will's face when he won. BHLCS. A magic moment.

5. The Boy Can't Help It

31. Kelly Osbourne sings Papa Don't Preach at MTV Movie AwardsOzzy's little girl launched her own singing career with a nod to the Material Girl at this year's MTV Awards. Her pouty, shouty performance turned the sulky teenager par excellence into a pink haired pop goddess.

34. 24

36. Make Me A Man

For once the sun was shining on the famously rainy city.

45. Celebrity Fit Club
Probably the toughest campaign trail Ann Widdecombe's ever been on. Sgnt Harvey barked out the orders as the celebs battled the bulge for charity. But just how much does Rik Waller really weigh?

50. Angelle - Vibe TV
Forget about Popstars - this girl found another way of trying to get to the top in 2002 - get your own TV channel! Angelle was the unexpected delight you came across while flicking through the satellite stations in 2002.
51. Faking It
Another fantastic instalment of the award-winning series, including the ex-Navy man who put on his stockings and became a drag star!

Behind the sweet smiles, dodgy dancing and fluffed up follicles, those two Eighties pop stars Bobby Gee and David Van Day reminisced on the amazing story of the battle for Bucks Fizz.
53. Brad Pitt's appearance in Friends
It's not often you get to see America's sweethearts seethe at each other on screen, but Brad Pitt's starring role in the top US comedy made him the leader of the 'I Hate Rachel Green' campaign.

Pass the Kleenex - there wasn't a dry eye in the house when ER favourite Mark Greene shuffled off this mortal coil, leaving a troupe of weeping medics to carry on the good work.
55. Bo Selecta
Jade Goody's number one fan Avid Merrion got his own show which soon picked up a loyal following - and transformed the likes of garage star Craig David into a rubber faced Northerner.

Highly enjoyable drama series where the staff are bigger kids than the pupils. This Life star Andrew Cassidy and his chums get into so much trouble, it's a wonder they're not on detention!

Blink, sneeze or cough and you probably missed it. But Tim Montgomery was firing on all cylinders when he ran the 100m in a historic 9.78 seconds in Paris.
60. The Edwina and John affair
Who'd have thought it? The love affair of the century between the grey man in the blue underpants of politics and the former junior health minister - and Sir Trevor McDonald proved a fine shoulder to cry on!
61. Michael Jackson's Face
He was the face of the late Seventies and early Eighties. And this Channel Five documentary showed why he should have stuck with it instead of changing his looks every five minutes.

71. Tipping The Velvet
The period drama that got the TV critics hot around the collar, as heroine Nan searched Victorian London for lesbian love.
72. The Cheeky Girls
They've been everywhere this year and deserve to be a TV treat in their own right. They turned up on Popstars - The Rivals and Model Behaviour. And what capped it all was those cheeky Transylvanian Twins' performance at the National Music Awards.

Will it be tears before bedtime for the country's most famous flatshare, just as it was in 2001? Get your votes in now to register your approval for this year's model.

And Brian May playing 'God Save the Queen' on top of Buckingham Palace was truly spectacular.

I don't really get the office. Although that clip where Ricky Gervais is dancing is pretty funny but apart from that its not my sort of thing. One of my fave comedies has to be Friends!!!!! British sitcom wise I'd go for Two Pints of Largar and a packet of Crisps.

I've found this on a Friends forum (http://www.piranha.takiweb.com/friendsweb/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&file=viewthread&tid=471#pid1717):
Hit American TV sitcom Friends may make its big screen debut next year - complete with all six famous cast members and a raunchier adult slant. The Emmy-winning show has already had its television run extended by a year after all six stars agreed to a tenth season and it is thought that the promise of a movie spin- off convinced them all to stay on board. The film antics of the New York buddies will be far more risque than the televised shows and could include sex and nudity. A studio source says, "Without those pesky American television network censors, it will be much more adult and will even include nudity." Reports suggest that hunky air head Joey Tribbiani played by Matt LeBlanc will be the one to disrobe first. The source says, "Matt has a huge female following, not to mention gay men. They will likely flock to the movie to see him bare all." Actors Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer were already willing to extend the show's award winning run but both Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston had misgivings due to their outside success in Hollywood. A source says, "They all agreed to do one more year after the movie deal was struck. They all want to be movie stars - that's why they caved in." However, the tenth season will run slightly shorter than its predecessors with only 18 episodes compared to the usual 22. All cast members will be paid $930,000 per episode and will net a percentage of the film's profits. The source continues, "They're being paid $9 million each for the film, plus a percentage of the profits and since it will likely be a major hit, they stand to walk away with a fortune."
Good to hear from our old friend the 'source' again!
There's also a link (http://teacher.scholastic.com/upfront/01bstar.htm) to an interview with Matthew Perry where he says a Friends movie will never happen. He also says that this year is the last though, and we know that's not true. Never say 'never'!
Friends = :sleep: :sleep: :sleep:
That's one movie I won't bother going to see.

Friends is brilliant! I watch the repeats they show all the time and I know whats gonna happen but I never get bored of it!
Im sooooooo glad I dont have to wait for them to show it on E4 before I get it on channel 4 this year!
Back to the 100 best tv moments thing -
Do you think Eastenders and Coronation Street were both only allowed to appear in the top 100 once?
Coz they are pretty much the most popular shows on TV so surely more than one moment for each would have been voted for?
Do you think they just took the most popular moment from each soap?
