Like with Jade Goody, I know she obviously was a lot more involved with the show but he was on CBB far more recently and I think they should an in memory thing before the titles roll. Does anyone know whether this will happen?

They don't usually do it when housemates die but they might this time since he was on earlier this year. Would be nice if they did

Probably on BOTS - I remember Emma dedicating the opening episoe of BB13's BOTS to Sophia Brown (BB10) who died that year

Yes. She wasn't publicly known for anything else during her short life.

That doesn't mean she was a more iconic BB contestant. She was boring and one of the first evictees.

David Gest on the other hand was really popular, would've probably won if he wasn't ill, and died just very recently.

Maybe BB aren't mentioning him because it might have been BB that killed him :shrug:

It's hardly about popularity, is it? Jade and Sophia received their fame through Big Brother so it felt right for those two to get a special mention.

I would think so.

Considering he died only 2 months or so after he left it'd be a little bit incredible not to mention it. And he was a far more popular housemate than Sophia and Jade on their last departures.
