So I am off to my boyfriends for the weekend. And I told him I would arrive at 4pm. Its now past that and I am not nearly there. Why you ask?? Because of a bastard bus driver. He would not let us on the bus at the stop. Then just drove off on his merry way. Next bus did not bother to turn up. So we had stood there for almost an hour before finally managing to get on a ****ing bus.
My mood is not good. Pfffft.
Any other experiences?? Xx
Can you ask him if he's available Monday at nine?

I had best not Parmy.
I shouted at him through the open window that he was a bastard.

Hehe..
I tried to pay with 20 pound once and he refused me..I broke my lighter hurling it off the back of the departing bus...
Not met a nice one since 1989
They're a pain sometimes
That said, I do sympathise with then on the whole
I remember the bus driver laughed at me knocking on the double doors while he was at a bus stop not moving in a half empty bus! I was tempted to fully report him

Why wouldn't he let you in to the bus, if you were on the bus stop?

So many don't bother to show up here, many drive past too.
I once had a bus driver see that I was running for the bus, wait til I got to the side of the bus, smirk and pull away :bored: They just purposely be twats tbh, though I can kinda see how doing that to someone might brighten up a crappy day somewhat :D

Oh plenty since my car has been busted. It’s a pain but remember to thank the bus driver Kate. They have a tough job like many of us.

I was once on a bus where the driver legit had a shouting fit wih some random guy. Because the guy said thank you. And seemingly from the argument, the driver was sick to the back teeth of saying 'you're welcome' to people all day..so snapped :D
Only happened the once though, so seems others either like it, or are just internally eyerolling when everyone says thanks..

Nahh I get it I think. Its not only every stop they have to say it, and hear the same thing over and over. Its sometimes multiple times per stop. This one..I was staying on for 20 mins as needed to go further, and there were maybe 30 people got off at the station..and it seemed all of them said thanks. I know that he should have held it as people were just being polite, but if having a bad day then that..I kind of get it.

I always say thank you to the bus driver as I get on, but not as I get off. I hope that don’t make me a bit of a prick  But I do understand, especially if they were having a crap day like you said if hearing the same thing over and over riles you up a bit.

Bus drivers usually wait for me when I'm running for the bus. Maybe we they take pity on me :joker:

They do it all the time, people must report a lot, and nothing ever changes tbh, so not sure reports work. I have a feeling they might have actually been unofficially told that..if they are running a bit behind, just zoom past bus stands to keep your time right or something. As I said, its always happening here, I live in the countryside so not many people would be affected so I can see this being the reason..but its obviously wrong.
