Anyone watching this?

The spinoff of One flew over the cuckoo's nests Nurse Ratched..

I've watched about 3 episodes it seems decent so far I'm getting some AHS vibes from it though.

Also I think the young boy that doesnt say much will end up being the big Indian guy from the movie

A decent watch. As much as I understand some of the critical review's points, because it's the same issues most Ryan Murphy shows have. I do think they were a little harsh.

If it was the end of the show it would be disappointing, but obvously this is only season 1 of an ongoing show so I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Finn Wittrock and that stuff is just.... pure AHS so is quite predictable in that respect. Even down to using soundtracks from movies like Psycho.

Some of the resolutions we do get come a little bit randomly though. Again, a Ryan Murphy trademark.

Sharon Stone's part is probably one of the weirder parts.

A lot of it is pretty much AHS: Asylum too. Whether that's good or bad I dunno.

...I loved Asylum actually...that was my favourite AHS season...I liked the character from Cuckoo’s Nest so I’ll give it a watch at some point as well, I’m really awful for following series...

i watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it. It doesn't require any thought, it's not that kind of show

I've never watched the film.

But I wouldn't be surprised. Sarah Paulson said the intention is for the story to build towards season 4 being the story of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
