...well, we’ve had a very lack lustre year and restrictions felt by us all have taken away so much creativity and possibilities this year...something also that hasn’t applied before...2020, has been such a first so everything ‘traditional’ is always going to reflect that as well...I love it, it’s beautiful within what is our reality atm...

This year has been so stripped back by the pandemic, I think the JL one total reflects that. They couldn't do a big family thing, most people have been hit financially so they can't do a big purchase thing, but love is free. I think its kind of perfect for the current climate

...yeah, those are my thoughts as well with it, Annie...it feels very reflective of the restrictions that Christmas may bring because that’s not completely known yet...and the year 2020 has been...hopefully this time next year all of the distancing will feel a distant thing...

It funny that Chinese people are our largest immigrants (and probably most successful) to the UK yet you rarely see them in adverts?

Same, not really feeling it at the moment, some people lose all perspective and put themselves in debt, hope it won’t be the same with the virus where Christmas gatherings will be put before health, better to have a quiet Christmas and know your loved ones are safe, rather than losing someone close for the sake of having the best Christmas ever...bit gloomy maybe but the virus won’t be on holiday and if we are close to a vaccine it’s a bit pointless to risk it imo
