Anyone else really want to see this film of the best selling book?
I loved reading this book, it was great and I can't wait to see the film to it.
You can watch the trailer at: http://www.odeon.co.uk/fanatic/film_info/m11245/trailer/

For those of you who don't know anything about it, here is a summary of the plot:
"The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas is the story of nine year old Bruno, the son of a high Nazi commander who is moved to Auschwitz during World War 2. Bruno finds that all of his favourite pursuits are somewhat limited in this barren place, until one day he notices a child of a similar age standing behind the fence in his pyjamas. Curious, Bruno visits the child and makes friends with him forging a friendship in the unlikeliest of circumstances. "

I enjoyed the film, Lucy my best friend has read it more than I have and she said the film did it justice.

I was crying too much to take it in, but i did think it was beautiful, worth much more than the 3 stars heat gave it.

I really want to see this, looks so interesting! I have heard its a film with no hollywood ending where everything is happy... but it leaves you feeling terrible.

I hope this film gets the response it should.

Just came back from seeing this, I'm feeling completely numb. One of if not the saddest film I've ever seen. Like someone else said at the end everyone just sat there and when everyone eventually got up, it was silent. I was seriously holding back the tears, espeically at the end. I have read the book and I think the film did an excellent job of it. Loads of people in the screen though, were crying through the film, but to be honest I could totally understand why. Such a sad film, but I would give it 10/10.

Saw it last week. My cousin was bawling lol. It was pretty good thinking back. The end is so depressing though.
