English toddler ordered off bus for wearing england shirt

A toddler was ordered off a bus because the foreign driver was offended by his England football T-shirt, his mother has claimed.

The unnamed driver, who had a Polish or Eastern European accent, said Dylan's white England shirt was offensive and he threatened to turf the family out on the street.

Daily Mail reporting a story about a moronic racist foreigner who should be deported.

WOMBAI 25-05-2010 01:18 PM

If true - the bus driver should be fired!

Enid 25-05-2010 01:20 PM

I doubt they're telling us the whole truth. The family look like a rowdy bunch. They were probably being morons. You don't just get kicked off a bus for wearing a t-shirt.

Shaun 25-05-2010 01:21 PM

Definitely something suspect about that story.

InOne 25-05-2010 01:22 PM

Can't imagine the a Polish guy being like that for no reason, they're usually alright.

AJ. 25-05-2010 01:25 PM

We're allowed to buy them but not wear them ... fuk right off.

This story might not be true but its supossedly illegal to wear your England shirt through Manchester town center now :?

PC is getting way outa control.

Novo 25-05-2010 01:31 PM

Should be sacked

No one has the right to tell you that you can't wear a England shirt in England

Horrible twat

Dont believe the Daily Mail/Facebook, you can wear your England shirt wherever you like

InOne 25-05-2010 01:35 PM

The thing is though, things like this do happen from time to time, and the more people brush it under the carpet the more they will get away with.

Beastie 25-05-2010 01:38 PM

Pathetic!!!!!!!! If I was in a different country.. like Poland and they were wearing "Polish" shirts I would not be offended!! As much as I am not bothered about football this is ridiculous!! <<<<<< This is however if it's true.. lol

Zippy 25-05-2010 02:52 PM

Lets not start hating foreigners just because of one alleged nutjob. He certainly wasn't acting according to any rules so there's no need to start getting paranoid about not being able to wear England shirts on buses.

These cases only make the news because they are RARE. If even true.

Tom4784 25-05-2010 03:00 PM

Don't be moronic people it's obviously not true.

Big emphasis on if...but yeah. Agreed.

That's such a vague and pointless bit of scaremongering. People aren't going to wake up in a month and find a Polish Prime Minister outlawing all mentions of St. George or Wayne Rooney.

At the very worst, this is just a lunatic bus driver who does not represent the views of a race, a nation or an ethnicity.

CaraRawr 25-05-2010 03:11 PM

If this is true, the bus driver is a harsh twat.

Says who? People act stupidly sometimes. The driver may have been having a bad day. And if he's being investigated then it must have some truth. Especially if there are witnesses.

True but it's all a bit too....off I guess. The language, the quotes. It just doesn't seem all that truthful. If this story was picked up by the broadsheets or proper paper then I'd be more inclined to believe it but it's all very suspect. Just because the tabloid is saying it's being investigated doesn't mean it is, there's been bigger lies more frequently told by tabloids.

Why would it be big news? Its just a silly little story about one stupid incident after all. If true, its just one idiots total overreaction. And he should be disciplined accordingly.

It's not a national scandal or indicitive of any great agenda. One idiot.

Who says they were? All I said was that things like this do happen from time to time and if they're handled properly it stops things like this blowing out of proportion.

This is the country that wrapped itself up in a sh*tstorm for a few months over a prank phone call. If this was true then there would be SOME mention of it elsewhere, I never said front page news but it's a topic that's guaranteed to move newspapers since it taps into immigration and such which are topics that always sell well in newspapers since people like to try and justify their hate.

It's a small story but I've seen lesser stories get more coverage in the media then this one and if it's true it's guaranteed to while people up into buying newspapers/ Checking websites ETC. The media works by scaring/enraging people into buying into the stories.

It could be true but xonsidering the newspaper it's in I doubt it.

Zippy 25-05-2010 03:39 PM

Well the paper certainly has its own agenda. But that doesn't make the story untrue. Theyre just blowing a small incident up for their own purposes.

And the prank phone call involved huge celebrities. Hence the attention.
