He would have gone to lots greyhound racing over the years and know that greyhound hurdle races are run. He will have seen many.:conf:

She was correct too....the dogs may like chasing the bunny, as John put it, but they only have a short time in which they are in their prime, then they are often discarded or mistreated, or put down.

Just watched it back, he never said that there arent any hurdles.

Either way the hurdles in greyhound racing arent exactly the same as horse racing, they have no substance to them and arent high at all.

She said animal sports are cruel, like fox hunting horse racing and dog racing, how they have to jump those hurdles, he said dog races dont have hurdles and hence just attacked her for it but he was wrong as he knows its cruel, and yes dog racing does have hurdles.

John would say if he thought it was cruel. If you hadn't noticed, he tells it how it is...

She definitely didn't "own" him that's for sure, she obviously didn't have a clue what she was talking about, She really should know about the goings on in these sports if she wants to challenge people about them!

Its differing opinion however he was forcing his opinion as its absolute.

well if she is that strongly against it she should have known he was lying and said it to him and gave examples of races that had hurdles but she couldn't argue with him cos she didn't have a clue
