Whose point of view do you most align with?

Thomas or Lily's?

Was he right to nominate his so called friend, or not?

Was Lily right to call him out on it?

They both looked out of their depth

I actually thought he’d nominate Sarah, but I noticed at evictions he’s sat next to her and they are holding hands so think they actually get on well.

I respect his reason (as I’d likely vote her for the same reason) but I did feel for Lily because although she was expecting to be up, I don’t for a second think she thought Thomas would nominate her.

Thomas has nominated Lily from the start…have you not watched :shrug:

But Team Lily because Thomas is a complete waste of a housemate spot. Every single evictee so far was a worthier housemate than him

Thomas and kahled, 2 lads round the same age as lily, have made their judgements on lily very clear from the first week.

But when her face welled up into redness then tears tonight I felt really sorry for her and saw q more vulnerable side. Will be rooting for her If she is ever up against ali nathan segun rosie or kahled.

Living in the house, I'd side with Thomas.

As a vewer, I side with Lily.

I think Thomas made his views clear. Lily didn't like it. She's nice enough in her own way but can also be annoying in certain respects. She's not mean, but selfish, for instance. I still don't get her. Thomas is pissed off about losing his luxuries. Lily doesn't really care. At one point we saw a playful side to them. That has waned. Maybe Thomas' reaction came as a surprise to Lily and she felt the need to respond. Maybe she's totally delulu? God knows what goes on in her head. :joker:

I feel like if you're meant to be friends then you shouldn't be nominating each other imo.

I feel like Thomas copped out with his real nominations because he was afraid of being called Homophobic or anti-LGBT.

I don't even like Lily, but Thomas does just have behaviour that I'm not very keen on during the rare times that we get to see him.

One of the rare times we say him was tonight, consoling a sorry looking dean In the bathroom.

The edit is definitely strange for Thomas.

I don't get why the production cast him for the Show, if they rarely want to show him.

I’ve never seen Thomas and Lily as friends as such, but more as a couple of people who can converse and get along at times just because they happen to be in the same setting. That doesn’t mean either has an allegiance to each other, or that they like every aspect of each other. And, at the end of the day, they all have to vote someone, and if you find parts of a person’s behaviour really annoying, it’s understandable that you would vote for them. :shrug:

Lily behaved as she did, and she has behaved in the way he described. And, as someone else posted, he has voted for her every time, even though he said himself that his nominations were a bit of a cop-out. I think it’s easy to forget that he is the same age as Lily and might have been terribly uncomfortable in the situation as he didn’t want to cause upset to anyone.

It was sad to see Lily genuinely upset, rather than having an over-dramatic reaction, and I did feel for her at the moment, but i think that nothing was said that was unkind or untrue. Maybe the reason Lily felt so upset, was because she had a moment of clarity, and realised that her own behaviour had put her in that position,

Maybe that bit they showed with dean tonight, showed how close him and dean were, cause that was after dean threw the tea bags at martha. When that happened Thomas instantly followed dean into wherever he stropped off to, and told him that was out of order and ro calm down.

They still remained friends after that, which tonights show confirms.


So on that, in the op I quoted, are you saying Thomas was holding back incase he came across as homophobic ?

I'm on his side regarding his Lily nomination , everything he said was true. She's annoying and untidy and doesnt think about health and hygiene. She once again reacted in typical Lily fashion... and threw a tantrum. Ok maybe he could have spoken to her 1 to 1, but would she have taken it on board... i doubt it.

Lily will always do what she wants, she lacks empathy and any consideration for others. This is the same person who will lick a biscoff jar double dip, and scream through the night when people want sleep and their own person space and peace and quiet.


BUT his BP nomination was a complete cop out ... and i still don't understand why BB allowed it :conf:. I'm pretty sure that's not a valid reason but whatever BB :facepalm:. How can he vote BP as she's... how did he put it "liked and won't get nominated ", i really wish BB would keep consistent and stay firm on housemates.

I think that Thomas was scared of being perceived as being anti-LGBT if he nominated Dean and Nathan.

Whoever wins, if Thomas is standing next to them when they win it wont be a bad thing.

Well he was pretty nasty towards two people that he (Thomas) gets on better with.

And Nathan because of what he said about himself (I mean Thomas) and Khaled.

Thomas. I haven’t really followed Tom and Lily’s relationship throughout the series much but I do know that Tom was right to have an opinion, even if Lily didn’t want to hear it. She can’t be that lacking in self-awareness that she can’t possibly conceive that some people may have found some of her behaviour annoying.

Yeah. He’s very smug. I don’t like him whatsoever but he was right about Lily, still. That’s his opinion (which many share) and it’s valid.

Tbf I share his opinion on Lily too.

I just don't know if it should've come from him though, as she was clearly upset that he had issues with her as well.

Oh come on, from the limited interactions we saw of them he was clearly humouring her each time.

Its kahled who had major issues with her, again, watch week one hl again and ther is one episode where he is almost sneering at her for trying to talk to him.
