An awful story, the part about the baby being left to decompose is particularly horrid. The trust in charge should be investigated for poor management and more money should be poured into resources to make sure that this isn't an issue of staff being stretched too far to the point of mistakes. Stories like this are a sign that we need to put more money and resources into the NHS to fix what is wrong rather than demonise it and do the work of the elite for them.

The timing is not coincidental, I bet. There's been a concentrated effort to try to undermine people's faith in the NHS as of late and given how gullible and easily led the public are by large, I fear that it'll work out all too well.
