They should though; when the pardons were being handed out, it shouldn't have been a sweeping catch-all, they should have considered the past character of the people being pardoned.
I can actually see a decent argument for pardoning the otherwise-OK people who had no violent criminal record and just got caught up in some hysteria on Jan 6th. But it should only have been for those people of otherwise good character. Not people with previous jail time for beating up three-year-olds.
