Daniel tipped for X Factor chop
Quote:
Daniel tipped for X Factor chop Daniel Evans is the favourite to be eliminated from The X Factor this weekend, according to the bookies.
Ladbrokes are offering odds of 6-4 on the 38-year-old - who is mentored by Dannii - getting the chop.
Ruth Lorenzo - who was in the bottom two last week - is second favourite to go at 3-1, meaning that Dannii could potentially be forced to choose between two of her acts in the sing-off.
Scott Bruton and Rachel Hylton are next in the betting - although it looks as though favourites Laura White and Diana Vickers are safe for another week, as they are both 66-1 outsiders for elimination.
"Daniel’s been living on borrowed time since the first live show," Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg told The Sun. "His poor performances are set to catch up with him this week."
The ten remaining finalists will tackle big band songs on this weekend's show.
Meanwhile, Mark Foster is once again favourite to get the boot from Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.
The Olympic swimmer is 7-4 in the betting - but Heather Small, who has survived the dance-off for the past two weeks, is not far behind in the betting at 2-1.
"Mark and Heather are Strictly’s weak links," said Nick Weinberg. "Whoever survives is likely to be favourite for the chop next time – they’re just putting off the inevitable."
