BB10 for giving birth to legendary housemates and a fab supporting cast to back it up too. More than half the cast I found something pretty appealing and diverse about and besides any golden era series, easily has the largest array of hilariously over-the-top personalities in the show. BB13 is still probably my favourite Ch5 series but I found too many mediocre/awful housemates that spoiled the mix. I preferred Deana to the rest of the BB10 cast but I can't say the same for the rest of 13.

Mainly my problem with 13 stems from house structure. Benedict, Lydia and Lauren were all really promising housemates who thankfully still managed to deliver before their unjust exits, but the series would've been far better if the power wasn't in the hands of truly repugnant people; mainly Conor and Caroline I blame for the ganging up against much better housemates. It's still fair nominations-wise of course, because as tragic as Deana vs Lydia, Benedict vs Lauren, and Lauren vs Luke A all were, they were still all fair nominations. But having to wait 53(!) days for Caroline to leave and a whopping 60(!!!) for Conor and Becky doesn't reflect well from a storyline perspective. Compare this to BB10; Sree completely dominated the first four weeks with his constant victimising and obsession with Noirin and I loved every minute of it, but he lasted a perfect amount of time of 4 weeks to allow other personalities to develop as a result. Likewise, horrible people got their comeuppance asap like they deserved usually; Kris' early eviction after breaking the rules is an all-time classic<3.

EDIT: Another driving reason why I prefer BB10 is that it almost always had new fresh storylines that meant you were never getting too much of the same thing; Angel's obsession with Noirin, Sree vs Noirin/Marcus, Freddie vs Lisa's clique, Noirin vs Marcus, Noirin vs most of the house, Bea vs Freddie, Freddie vs Lisa, Bea vs David, Siavash vs the rest of the house, Charlie and Rodrigo's on-and-off, and many more. Unlike other 90+ day series, I think its length worked to its advantage in coming up with new things the whole way through. In comparison, most of BB13's storylines can just be simplified down to 'Insiders vs Outsiders' and very rarely straying away from much outside of that divide. That's not a bad thing since most people agree the divide in that series was very entertaining, but when you compare it to BB10 that had a lot more variety in its dynamics, BB13 falls flat by comparison imo.
