Jürgen Drews (born on 2 April 1945 in Nauen) began his music career in the 1960s, first with jazz and later as a singer in the pop band "The Les Humphries Singers’". In the mid-1970s, the Münsterland native began a solo career and is one of the best-known and most successful German pop singers ("Ein Bett im Kornfeld"). The "King of Mallorca" also became famous for his performances on the Spanish holiday island, where he created a great atmosphere in venues such as the "Bierkönig".
