Default Does anyone else want the to ditch the studio eviction announcement?

Just wondering lol, i always prefer it when the housemates can hear the crowd outside, plus it sometimes knocked people off their stand a little if they knew the public hated them. Do you think it should return or keep it in the studio?

Yeah, I hate it. I loved hearing the chants to the housemates.

I thought that i was the only one, everyone was seeming to love it, but i just like the atmosphere much better with the crowd heard.

Me, it's one of the reasons why not it doesn't feel as much of an event anymore.

Beyond me why they ever changed it in the first place, 'if it aint broke don't fix it' as they say.

Used to love the days of 'GET GRACE OUT' chants etc, no more of that anymore.

I prefer the new way. As per the 'no contact with the outside world' rule, the housemates shouldn't be able to hear what the public think of them.

What baffles me is they have changed things that , as has been said on here, worked!
But they axe the live feed and diary room uncut, so all round they have made lots of mistakes, but i think the new format will last this series, but prefr the old way of evicting them!

I agree the old system was superior.
Is it possible that the crowd spoilt things by booing everyone relentlessly leaving the HMs none the wiser.
But I still have good memories of "Get Grace out"!

Clips of who nominated them are shown on BBBM.

Was much better the old way, the atmosphere the crowds make it all the more entertaining, the studio is just so rubbishy

I agree with what most of you have said. There isn't no atmosphere any more...

It's just...quiet. Before it was like...the pause between Davina revealing who was going ("BOOOOOOO GET....OUT"). It was awesome

They should bring it back! lol

There's been plenty of times that crowd noise has influenced actions in the house. For that reason it's best to keep it in the studio.

I really don't understand why they don't show the evicted HM who nominated them during the eviction show. I mean, after all, it is called the "eviction show." They do it on BBBM and it doesn't have the same effect. Plus I hate BBBM because of all the shouting and sometimes abuse.

That's certainly true. But by removing some of the outside influence, has much of the post eviction drama also been lost? I remember how the housemates were sent into a tizzy over every little phrase they caught ear of from the crowd. It was one of the highlights of eviction day for me It gave them something to gossip and stress about for days to come. Plus the crowd got what they wanted too. Let the voice of the public be heard!
