There's no going back if she's that unwilling to stay with him.

He should cut his losses, as after all he shouldn't have been cheating on her in the first place if he didn't want her to break up with him.

I guess the 15m is more than she would get if they divorced, hence why she is trying it on. She is basically saying to him, which do you like more, me or your money
