Default Penny in the huff

This was in People News.

http://www.peoplenews.com/news/0,343...-1-5-4,00.html

Quote:
Ex-Big Brother housemate Penny Ellis threw a wobbly while filming the BBC show Stupid Punts. One sketch required herself and fellow housemates Stuart and Tom to be put in stocks and pelted with wet sponges. Feeling that the attention of the sponges were focussing unfairly on her, Penny raged, ‘This is not *******ing on,’ and added, while still in the stocks, ‘I’m going!’ (Mirror)
I've never heard of this, but it doesn't sound that glam. I wonder if this is Stuart trying to demonstrate his 'fun' side again.

Well spotted, Feefs.

I've never heard of this show before. Unfortunately it all sounds a bit tacky, especially the title. Don't think it'll rival the Generation Game or Blind Date somehow!

Poor Penny.

The Mirror had picked up this story and put it in 'The Scurra' column yesterday. They said that Penny, Stuart and Tom were in the stocks for this new BBC show, when some schoolboys asked if they could join in pelting the three housemates. When the schoolboys all decided to pelt poor Penny she got very upset. Personally, I don't blame her. It all sounds really awful and tacky. What an undignified way to make a crust, oh dear!
