Kate!

As an alternative to Labour I'm coming round to the idea of voting for Reform.
I like what they have to say. (Postal vote)

I'm voting Reform. They can't do any worse... And I can't bring myself to vote for any of the others.

You must always vote where you believe some, most or all your own beliefs lie.
It's good anyone thinks seriously about their votes Kate Me personally, I'd never trust Reform on the NHS, they are way too right wing for myself, hence why disaffected Cons are more likely switching to them. Plus on immigration, Reform are further away from my own personal views than even the Cons are. I hate any Pary having rhetoric of people as just numbers and not living beings This is a hard election and choice for hoards of voters however. A lot of voters feeling politically homeless in fact. Even a few of my cousins who are more extreme right wing as to politics, are voting Reform this time over Conservative. Last edited by joeysteele; 23-05-2024 at 03:53 PM. |

i think people should forget about political party's and vote for the local mp that you think is the most honest and has the most integrity.
This is the only way to remove slime balls from politics and it also means the party that wins is the party with the most integrity. I have no idea why people don't vote this way by default rather than being tribal |

That's the only policy I like about them.
I'd never ever vote Reform however. However it will come from Labour, Labour MPs, members like myself, the Unions and Labour voters now mostly want PR. I'm pretty convinced it will be in the manifesto in the election after this one. The Lib Dems want PR too. The Greens, SNP, Plaid Cymru and every Northern Irish Party want PR as well as Reform. Reform can get 15% in elections yet not win seats other than perhaps one or 2. PR can only ever come from when a main Party proposes it. The Cons never ever will. It's been overwhelmingly passed at 2 Labour conferences now. Starmer says it's not a policy he's putting in the manifesto for THIS election but I'm pretty confident he'll have it in the next election's manifesto. Yes though, I rigidly now support PR. Have a look at the Social Democratic party if you want an alternative to Labour which isn't just full of wealthy people who want to shrink the state. They have a fair number of old Labour supporters in the party

Just had a look at the manifesto and would follow floridas Don’t Say Gay bill that allows teachers to out students. No thank you
“ Inform parents of under 16s about their children’s life decisions.”

George Galloway's far left party made derogatory remarks about gay people as well. The far left support homophobic terrorist organisations like hamas. Who killed their commander Mahmoud Ishtiwi for being homosexual. You cant just accuse the right or conservatives of hating gays.

…it’s your vote, Kate…and you must vote for whoever you feel is where you want to place your vote…let it come from you, though…and not be influenced by the views or thoughts of others etc…everyone has their own vote to focus on…

Let’s be honest if a teacher has to tell you about your own child then you’re a piss poor parent.
No one has the right or place to out anybody and if you believe they should then you’re an awful person

You don’t have to be a parent to know how to support and love a child. Quite embarrassing on you that you’ve tried that angle.
Stand by what I said, a teacher doesn’t and should not have the right to out a child to their parents. If you think they do then you’re an awful person. Simple as really.
