Martin Lewis (money saving expert)
co-presenting GMBHD itv

It's gone up by 20p+ and still rising but sure, cutting the tax by 5p will fix it

all their energy schemes are grim

The rebate on council tax only applies to bands a to d. Do they really think people in band e and above wont be affected by price rises. There will be a lot of elderly in larger houses that are really going to struggle

Also - again - it barely covers a fraction of the projected increases for most people. And it's a one-off. It's not like the prices are going back down any time soon so it's just kicking the ball into the long grass... rebates and bonuses elsewhere are pointless... they need to get the level of the bills themselves locked down.

Perched for the looting to begin. I've saved up 2 shopping trollies. Both perched and ready to go..

There has been 18 drive offs from my local garage in 6 days...

I'm more a food man myself, hence the perchness.

It being reported that
folks going to Food Banks
are no long wanting Potatoes
as they do not have funding to Heat them up.

Reported on LBC Live.

I think Food banks should cook the Potatoes
for these people,

You've created a solution to a problem that shouldn't be happening.
