A £500 voucher for parents to stay at The Grand York. They have always wanted to go York. My parents got emotional

I only bought one other other present and that was as for my sister.

I don't really do presents

I like to assemble "care packages" for my nearest and dearest - there are four such people who go to Glastonbury and Download, so I make "Festival Survival Kits" - the idea is that they can just bung it in with their clothes and phone, without needing to worry about anything else.

They contain stuff like chewable toothbrushes, showers in a can, wetwipes, powerbanks, shoe sleeves, sun block... they're always fun to assemble, and they've all said before that my Festival Survival Kits are the reason they don't smell like tramps

They always say "you should sell these!" but while I did think of it myself, I bet there are loads of the same out there

We bought our three granddaughters their first ever pet ( goldfish aside )

A gorgeous Siberian Dwarf Hamster !!

I had the misfortune of taming it down over the last week or so … I lost blood yet Santa gets all the credit !!

LoL
