There are times when people have their heart stopped and are kept alive by a heart and lung machine so these people are clinically dead and brought back to life when their heart us restarted or a transplanted heart is re started.
Then there are people who hearts stops for 10 minutes they get their heart restarted and have no brain damage. More studies needed. |

I believe it tbf. I'd imagine there would be at least some activity directly after death, like the neurons in the brain would probably slow down before stopping completely? I'm not sure we'll ever have firm evidence either way though.

I never thought about it before! It was always just a thing that worked, I didn't question it! But its so obvious now that i feel so thick haha.
