Great song, unusual sound (for the time), enjoying what they are doing, playing instruments, dance routine. Classic pop.
this was tearing it up in 1972 and the chicks digged it the most Before this track the OSmonds were seen just as a sucessful nice Boy Band but this moved them into a serious pop band. Jay Osmond said, "Crazy Horses was way ahead of its time. It’s a song about ecology and the environment: those “crazy horses, smoking up the sky” are gas-guzzling cars, destroying the planet with their fumes.
