I do remember Bex or Luke saying something how they weren't really together or something to that affect. On the gay thing it's nothing nowadays like it was back when Elton John got married, being gay is not a big deal in the celeb world(gay guys are more loved than anything) so I don't see why anyone would feel the need to hide it. Anyways I told myself I wasn't coming back to this thread so *fecks off*

Princess: much as I'd like to agree that being gay isn't an issue now: I think it still is - very much so. You just have to look at some of the newer celebs who took quite some time for and admission of their sexuality - because they were being targeted to young females (I'm thinking the likes of Will Young initially - that sort of thing). Not saying it's right - not at all - a person's sexuality is nothing to be ashamed of: what is shameful, is pretending to be something you are not in an effort for 'promotional gain'. And I honestly do think this is what JJ is all about. I could be very wrong. Time will tell. |

From that story, it seems it was genuine though :/
The anger helps convince me that it was real too |

yeah, I agree, you need to actually have had feelings for someone to get so angry, imo anyway. You'd imagine if it were purely for financial or publicitys sake that it would be more planned and dignified

OTOH, if the gravy-train depended on the (alleged) relationship, at least one party would be very annoyed at having to go back to Poverty Street, Coundon, Coventry ..... |

Well, Luke's "campness" was very effeminate and he was a real "bitch" in the house, while Bex's stalking was on record :

I forgot Bex was obsessed with Hanson! I think that was half the reason I liked her.
