You don't know people and have no right to make any such assumptions based on their concerns over large scale immigration. It's hardly as if immigration is working out well in most parts of Europe is it. But that of course is all down to the West. |

Corbyn reminds me of Neil Kinnock with his 'getting down with the cool kids' attention - seeking stunts.

On armed forces day as well.
Glad he has shown his suport for our brave defenders by spending it with some spaced out hippies. Last edited by Parumpapapump; 25-06-2017 at 08:21 AM. |

He is getting his priorities right - getting those young voters hooked - when is there a better time than when they are 'spaced out'. Gullible and spaced out in an atmosphere of hysteria - it's in the bag. Never mind our brave soldiers. Shame on hIm. There are so many AF events he could have attended out of respect for what they do for this country but he preferred to go vote hunting for 'the next election'. Transparent or what. You can't really fault him for his campaigning. It's what he's good at.He picked the right place for an echo chamber for sure. His revolution rhetoric is exciting for many.He probably will inspire more to vote with stuff like this.
You've gotta admire his determination. Politics is on the move to the left now after the Tories have been inflicting their policies on us for the last seven years. It's how it goes.Politics is a pendulum.I think Labour will get into power possibly at next election or if not definitely the one after and we may have them for a decade or so and then the country will swing right again, then left again. |

What is evident for me anyway that the same backlash and desire for investment in the countries social and industrial need is being felt after 7yrs of tory austerity as it was after both world wars..... :/

People had the same hero worship for Thatcher before she got in.

Yes of course they all spin. The worry is when people buy into the spin so much that there is an element of hero worship. This happened with Blair, at one point he could do no wrong, and look how that turned out.

I'm not old enough to recall that. The only time I've seen it before was Blair.

Corbyn turned down an invitation to meet veterans, instead he chose glastonbury and the kids. He might be popular with the kids, but so was jimmy saville.. Last edited by Parumpapapump; 25-06-2017 at 01:02 PM. |
