Default Gerry?

Don't get me wrong, he was a great housemate. After watching the video of him leaving on youtube... did it make you think after he kept repeating "I am going to show everyone I am not here for the money" that he was just trying to make himself look good?

Yes, definately.

I think he thought that the public thought (Amanda moment!!) that he was selfish by saying he would betray anyone to win the money, and so by him sacrificing himself over Carole he would be redeemed. I don't think it really worked because the public didn't hate him for that, they evicted him for being moany.

I think he thought that the public thought that he thought... lol just kidding

Yeah once he'd let everyone evict him he was like "I've done the right thing here" trying to make it clear what he'd done, hoping people would change their mind about him when he got out - which did kind of work with all the cheers he got. I wish they'd gotten rid of Carole though,

I'm just wondering if Gerry would've said the same against someone like Kara Louise or Jonty... someone who definitely would've been evicted over him...

He was talking about himself, saying I'll prove this, I'll prove that. He was doing it for purely selfish reasons, because he wanted people to like him, and it was the only option left for him to say "PICK ME! PICK ME! " before his housemates gave him a *******-off tablet, anyway.
