For quite a while now going back a few series it's like the judges are tactically scoring and wouldn't it make it fairer more entertaining and the only way judges get a chance to save anyone would be in the dance off. The look on their faces would be worth it alone especially if they had someone at the top in the dance off. By all means let them score but for guidance only. I know they do guidance only for the final but it should be the whole series.
Also the number of times you see the judges up for a standing ovation is unfair on the other contestants. Some of the construction criticism the couples at the end of a dance is sometimes pointless. Take last night and Shirley's comments to Anton and Emma was rather arrogant. Craig's comments for the same routine were far more helpful for the couple. If the show wants to keep evolving and improving it needs tweaking. The BBC should show how the viewers voted or before the dance off the audience find out who would have finished bottom if there wasn't a dance off. Last edited by Pja1969; 03-11-2019 at 04:05 PM. |
