It's the PS5 upgrade, with the Yuffie DLC, I wouldnt expect to see Part 2 until Final Fantasy XVI is out.

I was expecting yearly releases for the parts, I dunno if I'm up for the long waits inbetween and undertake the extra-long wait until all parts are released before continuing . It could be a long time I know but we've watied decades for this already and imagine what an epic journey it'll be if there are several more games to play one after the other as one huge game .

I honestly think the plan was probably for yearly or bi-yearly releases but I think Covid has screwed that up. With the graphics and gameplay systems in place, it shouldn't take as long as it did for the first to come out when it comes to the other parts. I can see Part 2 and Part 3 releasing relatively close together (like a year or two between them).

I can't see the remake series being any longer than three parts, really.

If you've not played the original, you won't really understand the ending much, but it will all become clear in the next parts, I expect.
