And by the title I mean foods/snacks that you’d enjoy creating for yourself in a hypothetical world/if you had access to the ingredients or even if you do but just haven’t gone there yet because of how out-there/random they seem (it could be your niche personal take on beans and toast that you haven’t had the courage to put to the pot-test yet, spicy jollof rice if you don’t normally cook stuff like that or a special Dorito nacho-wrap).
I’ll start with flamingo-battered French toast.

I break an egg onto a pan of beans and cook it all together !
Scrumptious on toast or with toast pieces around beans as I prefer .. I’m not keen on soggy toast .. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Last edited by Zizu; 18-01-2023 at 10:27 AM. |

It’s an option .. although many claim that honey is just a form of sugar soooo.. Google .. Honey and sugar are both carbohydrates, consisting of the two types of sugar: Glucose and fructose, both of which are broken down quickly by the body and can cause spikes in blood sugar levels. Overeating added sugars, including honey, can pose other health risks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I would still choose honey over actual sugar . Maple syrup is worse than honey surely?, and honey still has health benefits. |

I've just bought a Doner Kebab flavour Pot noodle. I've never seen them before so I bought one just to test it out.
I'll probably have it for my lunch on Friday. |

That egg would be better off on top of a pile of Bubble and Squeek.

I did that with porridge when I was low on almond milk ,I don't think I'd do it with Weetabix though lol... I'd probably just use yogurt.

Bubble and squeak is a must. You'll become addicted. Here's a boxing day bubble and squeak made by the Butler's with Christmas dinner leftovers. I had bubble and Squeak on Monday with my leftovers from my Sunday roast. I also had it boxing day too. |

If we’re choosing based on taste and not mere health benefits (whatever they may be), I’d choose maple-syrup over honey any day of the week. I don’t mind honey in tea (whether it’s PG Tips, green, chamomile or c.b.d.) but when it comes to stuff that actually belongs on pancakes and stuff like that maple’s infinitely sweeter. To me honey’s best-suited to hot drinks.
