It's def a mix though, but that just reflects the cultural change of London via mass immigration and the like.

Quand il pleut, il pleut

…^^…yeah, because Hanah does have a specific way of talking and word usage and terminology etc…I would say that some would find it difficult to understand…and (…I think…)…as is human nature also…if we’re interested/invested in a housemate and find them generally likeable etc…?…we can tend to find any accent or way of speaking, something that we’ll follow more closely and it has more clarity, if that makes sense…?…but if it’s someone that we just haven’t taken to/or we find it very jarring in some way…?…then we won’t make that same effort…?..
…I mean I am a northerner/Geordie but with Jay McKray, I still didn’t understand everything he said and I didn’t alway clarify it all either…/…I was a bit switched off with him/didn’t connect with any of his personality if I recall… |

…I like accents though and I like different ways of speaking and expressions I’m not familiar with…it’s a huge learning thing for me…AJ gets quite a bit of criticism also, doesn’t she…for being ‘too regional’ and not easy to understand for some…I love her accent, it’s a part of who she is…as is Hanah’s…

From it's content not his accent ![]() I've found Hanah difficult to pick up as to what she's saying sometimes, especially when she's speaking faster. Most times I find it easy to though. However I'm afraid I don't really care for Hannah now, she's not one of my likes in there sadly. |

I think your last point is interesting as I think the dislike for Ali is so strong that Hannah is automatically liked Quote:

I find it degrading towards women. We have come so far on this front. It's not Westernised to have a different view. Equality is a big thing and this pisses all over. As a country we're suppose to be diverse though. She has her opinion I don't agree with it at all. |

I do think she could have handled what happened after, better though!

When Hanah told us about her religion and having to be subservient to their husbands....I'm starting to think Hanah might struggle with this..

For me, it’s about what is being actually said rather than how it’s delivered. There are a certain type of people who don’t seem to be allowed to make mistakes and aren’t given any grace at all (I don’t mean by you, but in general).

But generally speaking. It CAN be dangerous. Depends on the view expressed, but part of British values is the ability to accept others from diverse backgrounds. |

I have to say, i don't like her tone and attitude at all. No idea why Martha was so keep to make up with her. I wouldn't have bothered. She's horrible.

Is this your way of agreeing that Ali was indeed being controlling when she said that?

Hanah effectively saying “I’ve told you I don’t want to hear it so stop talking” despite having absolute free will to remove herself is very different IMO. I have criticised Ali on numerous occasions - on her treatment of Khaled, on her not being very fun., etc…butI don’t believe Ali’s request for housemates not to talk about ejaculation around her when she couldn’t leave the conversation was unreasonable in the slightest. |

This I agree with. I would say Martha is probably the most disingenuous housemates in there. “I don’t want a friendship with her. I don’t care” to “I have a lot of love for you” in the space of an hour. Whut.

Hanah has every right to defend herself. Saying “I’ve told you I don’t want you to talk so stop talking” is controlling regardless of who is in the right. Martha was completely in the wrong, but Hanah didn’t handle herself well at all. If she didn’t want to hear Martha talk, she can walk away.

Hanah did absolutely nothing wrong.
She was forced to stand alone in front of everyone and made to defend herself for being nice. She ignored Martha's evil mouth to save Lilys upset. But the moment Lily asked her if she heard anything she immediately told her yes, because she doesn't lie., and because it was Lily that wanted to know and not the bouncing jowel head. |

Yeah once again Martha was 100% in the wrong but at the same time Hanah handled herself terribly.

Hanah acted out of frustration at the above, she could have ‘walked away” like you said but why would you want to back down when someone is trying to turn people against you.

tbf she didnt cover herself in glory but it is really frustrating to be explaining yourself and have two people sat on the soft screwing up their faces and pretending to misunderstand, when you are being painted as the bad girl when you were doing the right thing you can imagine that would be incredibly frustrating right? Emma was just as fiesty as Hanah but she is not being labelled agressive, you could see she was angry at the pair sat on the couch and she was not being accused of anything so I can only imagine how Hanah felt ....and as for Martha creeping around Hanah afterwards that was kind of mad no?
