I’d be more worried about her Mayoress title tbh. I think she’s put her fella (Mayor) in jeopardy too with this.

The town they’re mayor/mayoress of is five minutes from me and it’s quite a prestigious place, I doubt this’ll go down well at all.

Stop the Boats is a racially charged phrase regardless of what anyone says. Sarah didn’t meant her joke in a racist way I don’t believe but it was an extremely poor choice of phrase to try and joke around with.
