[Wreckage found in Alaska for missing
Bering Air plane carrying 10 people
It comes after dozens of people died
in two major air accidents elsewhere
in the US in recent weeks.]

[On Saturday, in a post on X,
the coastguard said: "USCG has ended its search
for the missing plane after the aircraft
was located approx 34 miles southeast of Nome.
3 individuals were found inside
and reported to be deceased.

"The remaining 7 people are believed
to be inside the aircraft but are currently
inaccessible due to the condition
of the plane.

Our heartfelt condolences are with

…very, very sad…more families devastated …I wonder why it was felt ok to fly in what has been described as a ‘dangerous winter storm’ with zero visibility conditions…why the flight wasn’t grounded until it felt much safer to be in the air…

…whatever the reason it was decided to fly in those’d weather conditions, it’s very, very sad isn’t it…it’s a grief that will be felt by many as I imagine those more remote communities all have some connection with each other and all families are known to each other…
