No I do not sadly.

I've never been an admirer of Trump but the one thing I hoped for was that he'd work GENUINELY for peace and a safer World.
I see no evidence of that only an aim of selfish greed of even exploitation of events by him.
So far I add.

As I may yet be proven wrong and I'd love to be shown to be wrong.

All I am seeing is other leaders and Countries just tolerating him and sucking up to him for the next just under 4 years.
Let him think he's achieved whatever then once he's gone resume whatever hostilities they wish to.

I'm feeling the World is more possibly heading into more dangerous waters under his FINAL term of USA Presidency.

it's a very good question. Was it a safe place prior to Trump? No, because we all know Putin's agenda, yet europe, including the UK weren't backing the risk of war up by meaningfully increasing defence spending. A short sharp shock has got everyones attention now without anything in the world actually changing.

Trump won't get a peace deal because Putin will not delay his momentum forward across europe. He will accept an operational pause, because he needs that to regroup, but he is getting too old to hang around and do nothing for years

What Trump wants is a nobel peace prize, Obama got one for doing sfa, so Trump wants one too, that's what his drive for peace is all about, he doesn't actually care if peace happens if he gets his nobel peace prize. That's why he will never provide a security backstop to any peace keeping force, because that extends his reponsibility
